Looking for a source for table hardware - macphanatic - 12-05-2009 I had a catalog of really nice tools and hardware. They sold a nice brass table yokes. For the life of me, I can't find the catalog or website. It's not Rockler or Garrett Wade. Google wasn't much help. Anyone have any ideas? TIA Re: Looking for a source for table hardware - Paul F. - 12-05-2009 I was gonna suggest Rockler... but if you say it wasn't Rockler, well.. then it wasn't Rockler. SOoooooooo..... Um... I guess never mind. Re: Looking for a source for table hardware - macphanatic - 12-05-2009 Already checked Rockler. The catalog that I'm thinking of is really nice with heavy paper. I knew I should have put that catalog in a better place. Re: Looking for a source for table hardware - Winston - 12-05-2009 Horton Brass is the Google link I came up with. What specifically are you looking for? http://www.horton-brasses.com/store/tablehardware/tableyokes More results if you search for "table leaf fork" http://www.vandykes.com/product/cm110007/table-leaf-fork-2-3-8- There are also table leaf latches http://www.monstermarketplace.com/Home/Landing1544a787.html Our dining table leaves have both forks and latches, I think due to two iterations of work on the leaves. Good luck. - Winston Re: Looking for a source for table hardware - Bo - 12-05-2009 Perhaps Lee Valley & Veritas in their hardware catalog? They do three nice catalogs: woodworking, hardware and gardening. I've been buying stuff from them for years and they have great products and have been wonderful to work with. Link to their online catalogs: http://www.leevalley.com/home/OnlineCatalogs.aspx?c=2 link to their main site: http://www.leevalley.com/home.aspx -Bo Re: Looking for a source for table hardware - macphanatic - 12-05-2009 Winston wrote: My search turned up Horton, but not the other two sites. Van Dykes has the one that I had thought of. Bo wrote: Thanks. Forgot about Lee Valley, but not the site I was thinking about. I'm going to look through their catalog for my Christmas List. |
