i have 3 drives in fw cases that i backup to. i'm getting sick of dealing with that many cases. anyone using a 3 or 4 drive fw case that they are really happy with? hopefully on the cheap. or should i just check ebay?

I got a NIB dual bay FW enclosure from eBay for $59, the bloke had plenty to choose from. He is on hiatus till next monday, try him then and see what he has got.
