can I make double locations settings for for my Airport Express? - guitarist - 04-08-2006

I set up my AE device to stream iTunes at work. Then I bring it home, and set it up at the internet connection here at my apartment*. Each time, I have to reset the AE device as it were new. Then reset it again to set it up at work*

*(note: I don't have Admin authorization privleges at the main wireless connection at work, or at home, I only have full authority with my personal hardware, the AE device, and my Powerbook, the two things I take back and forth)

Having said that, isn't it possible to use the AirPort Admin Utility to tell my AE to recognize both locations? I got into the beginning stages of creating two locations in AirPort Admin Utility, but haven't yet succeeded in getting it set up for dual locations without using Airport Setup Assistant to start over from scratch.

Apple's documentation here is unfortunately pretty thin. Anyone done this trick yet? It can't be that hard. I'd hate to have to buy to AEs just for this convenience.

Under Airport Admin Utility you want the button that says "profiles". I don't use this feature, but I think it should do what you want.

yup, profiles is what I've enabled, I just haven't gotten the process to work yet from beginning to end in dual locations, hoping someone here has. Anyone?
