Bucket of PowerBook into Powerbook! (Do I need processor paste?) - mattkime - 04-08-2006

YEAAAAAH!!!!

I just got myself a tiBook! The hard way - I put it together and now it works! unfortunately, I didn't have any processor paste around. How important is it on this 400mhz machine? I wanna play now, but I guess I shouldn't until I get some of that stuff on the processor. Think I can find some at circuit city or radioshack?

you've got time. Don't start that machine without the heat transfer help.

Use Artic Silver. Worked better than the radioshack stuff.

Arctic Silver, the real stuff (yes, it gets counterfeited). You can get it at CompUSA BTW.

don't try to run that thing without it.
