They picked the right actor to get me to tune into the pilot; Mark Valley is dreamy.

I've always *wanted* to like Mark Valley, but his last two characters made that difficult.
Here's hoping this changes things for me.
What were some of his other characters?

I remember that.
The first episode was a little formulaic, but I enjoyed the show. But it got moved around and I think I lost it opposite something else I liked.
