bizarre, apple store not open today - Chris Y - 04-04-2010

Just went by the Apple store in Emeryville, CA today to check out the iPad. I didn't have any intention on buying one but certainly wanted to play with one. The security guard said it was going to be closed all day. Very strange that they would have the store closed today, lots of other people were trying to do the same.

I looked at Genius appointments fro Sacramento the other day---and all day Easter was unavailable also.

Seems strange if they are closed, with all the additional publicity there is in the Sunday papers.

There's not enough iPads for all the stores; throttling opportunity to check them out might actually work towards the bottom line in the long run.
