Memory usage - blooz - 04-08-2010 I noticed a little while ago that things were getting slow,and i didn't have that many apps active. I looked at Activity Monitor and it showed that Firefox was using a little over 200 MBs of memory. I had three tabs open. It actually was using up more memory than Photoshop. Both applications were active but not actually in use. I was writing in another application. Is it normal for firefox to be using up that much memory? I turned it off and started it up again and just on opening it was up to 64 MBs. Now I have three tabs open as I type this and its using 102 MBs. Now i know that there is a meory problem with this application, I'll monitor it more closely. |
