Has anyone noticed a slow down in safari with facebook's bejeweled? - wowzer - 05-05-2010
On my hackintosh 2.4ghz quad core (kensington?) I notice that there's a slow down with bejeweled on facebook. I am curious if official macs also have this slow down---on my macbook 2.4ghz, I notice an occasional slow down as well.
Does anyone else here notice this too? On my work computer, I do not get the slow down running XP in firefox. I figure that a faster and more ram computer (in my hackintosh with 8 gigs and macbook with 2 gigs), I shouldn't be experiencing this slow down.
In firefox, I notice a little lag as well on my hackintosh.
In activity monitor, I see all 4 cores running less than 10% each and disk activity shows almost no hard drive read/write activity. Is there a reason for this slow down? Bad code from popcap?

Not really, I got fed up with crashing and slow browsing with Safari a while ago. Switched to Camino

Ok...I am at work now and notice significantly better performance on a Core 2 Duo at 2.33ghz w/ 2 gigs of ram. The video is on-board.
