Title pretty much says it all. Anything I need to particularly be aware of, migrating from Leopard -> Snow Leopard? Especially considering that I will want to be going back and forth between machines running each... so any differences in file structures, etc. would be especially important.

lots of utilities, some programs needed to be updated.
If you use Windowshade X, Unsanity just updated it to work with 10.6.
For the most part, think of 10.6 as 10.5 a little more polished.

I have Snow Leopard on my laptop but still have the original Leopard on my Mac Pro. No problems going between the two. The only thing I don't like about Snow Leopard is how, when I right-click to close an app from the dock, how the whole screen goes dark. Just can't get used to that, but otherwise no issues.

on 10.6.2 here & I don't see that happening. App just closes.

Wow! Looked at Unsanity's site. Labels X works with 10.6. That by itself might make upgrading to SL worth it for me.
What about CS2 and Filemaker 6?

I just upgraded from 10.4.11 to 10.6.3 on my Mac Pro. I was expecting all sorts of trouble but so far it hasn't broken anything. I don't use any haxies though.

Hmmm... maybe another, better question is: what will SL do for me that Leopard won't? (I'm not in a forced upgrade situation; no IT department breathing down my neck, etc...)
When I mentioned file structures -- for example, the file structures for Address Book changed between Tiger and Leopard. Likewise for Mail. So these are real concerns...

I'm sure that some apps have different data files structures due to the new fork-compression tricks they pull to reduce the footprint of the OS.
Mostly it's just faster. There are few apps that it actually breaks. PS 7 won't work. Anything that relies on input managers (haxies, Safari hacks) won't work... Just remember to do the optional installs of Rosetta and QT 7.

Hmmm, PS 7 not working? That's not good, I sort of like the simplicity of that version over CS and its iterations.
