Need help finding some OOOOOOOOOOOLD software

I hope someone here can help me out. I am looking for a very old piece of software from the System 7 days called "Before Dark" also known as "Chameleon" . This was a nice little program that put desktop patterns on your desktop!

I have a copy of version 1.1 but it only includes 1 pattern and advises that you download more from the internet, of course the company is long gone and I can't find the software anyplace on the net including some of the bigger Mac FTP archives.

Sorry but while going on a quest for info...learned something new. The creators of Berkeley Systems After Dark (Flying toasters anyone?) went on to found MoveOn.org.

I had a couple of programs of that type, but not the one you want: I had Wallpaper and Screenscapes and some shareware one whose name I can't remember.

kj If they do they same thing, put desktop patterns a-la OS 8 onto a System 7 mac I'm game...

There seems to be a bunch if you ftp to grandaccess.com. There's a whole folder of finder patterns for use with BeforeDark and so on.
