Hmm. Never had a KK doughnut. When I still lived in Flint, they had'em at the local Sam's Club, cold, in a box. They didn't look too appealing.

Then they opened an actual Krispy Kreme in front of Sam's. I was always going to try some fresh, but never got the opportunity. They closed that location after a year or so. I thought it was odd they closed so soon, and never heard why.

Drive by quite a bit but haven't had one of their donuts in years. It IS an icon and I hope they can update but keep the same look.

The cold ones are Not Good. When I was in junior high we had a fundraiser that involved selling boxes of Krispy Kremes. I'll never forget the stench when all the boxes were delivered to the gym for kids to gather up and take to the people who'd bought them.

Hot Now, different story...

Cold Krispy Kreme donut is part of my morning bicycle ride. When they got em I get the apple fritter.
