A/V receiver woes

Good idea about the video.

Now I think I'll wait until some ice is removed from roadways before going back over there.

I have circuit testers and have put them in a very logical and organized place. Now I have to FIND that logical and organized place.

I'll make you a deal on a near pristine Sansui 9090DB... may need a bit of creativity to implement "A/V", but it's doable....

If the above suggestions do not work, I"d measure the voltage at the outlet it is plugged into and compare it to the voltage at the circuit breaker of that circuit.
It could be a bad connection at the receptacle.
If you are using an extension cord that is too small a gage or too long also might contribute to the voltage drop
