Trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on a MBP(again).

So why is the MBP 100% necessary? What's wrong with a regular MB?

I thought we already had this discussion. Is it safe to assume you didn't like the answers you got last time? Smile Which, if I remember right, were about the same as you're getting now. Besides, I could have sworn you already found a great buy on a Core duo. Here, on June 13th:

Pulled the trigger.

This was what I was expecting to get originally.

It will easily do what I want without any hassle.
If 64bit ever becomes a huge issue then by then I can surely upgrade.

This will do all that I want it to do with alot more money in my pocket.

I know, but as said it fell through.

MGS, to be honest, I'd love a regular MB, but the GMA950 graphics can't do what I'd like to do. It can barely barely run the software that I know I will run on it, much less the games that I'd like to run.

At this point I think I've decided that I'll put a bit more into my GhettoBook so that I can at least do some programming.

Save your money. It's just a computer.

Man, I really regret my MBP purchase last December for $1199 - I could have gotten a Core 2 for only $6-700 more...man - I blew it!!

Smile

I love this machine!!!
