I don't know why banks aren't forced to lower credit card interest and penalties, since they are getting bailed out.
Still no relief for the regular citizen.
Funny that Insurance Companies can bill months in advance or you are "late" , cancelled, and your credit rating tanks.
I am trying to pay everything I can off...everything.

You and I are on their black list of the least favorite customers! I just told WaMu why I am taking our money to a CU. The manager couldn't give me a persuasive reason not to leave the bank!

Kap. You might want to keep that account open as a fallback. I still have a BofA account but funnel most of my banking through the CU.
I still have a joint account with a family member.
