where to find nonstandard kitchen drawer unit?
#1
a few months ago my landlord redid my kitchen. while it was very generous considering i complained only about a leaky sink, a countertop / drawer unit was removed and never returned because it no longer fit.

my kitchen needs drawers. the max width of the unit is 26". anyone know where to find something like that? my best bet so far is a restaurant supply show down the street that could make a butcher's block and then it would be up to me to figure out the drawers.

You can buy kitchen cabinets with drawers - 24" is a common width. You didn't say if this was supposed to be built in to existing base cabinets or stand alone.

Go with a standard 24" unit and use filler pieces to fill out the sides if it butts up to other cabinets.

Home Depot, Lowes,Ikea, any cabinet maker. Can you post a picture/drawing of what you're trying to accomplish? Lots of people here with good ideas.
