Good LEM on the IBM Model M and Other Keyboards
#1
As you guys know, I'm addicted to my IBM Model M.
It's amazing. I'm also addicted to very quality keyboards and my next laptop purchase will be dictated exclusively by the keyboard(and a few other minor factors.)

I took some typing(transcription) tests briefly(mostly to compete with a friend), and got ~80 WPM at ~85% accuracy.

Anyway, the article

It just reinforces the greatest keyboard ever made.

I have an old ps/2 one of those laying around somewhere. I'll have to see if my usb adapter will work with it. It's so huge though! kj.

Dedicated PS/2 to USB will. Not cheap ones though.

I'm actually using an AT one. So I go AT -> PS/2 -> USB.

Apple keyboard that came with my SE/30 is still my overall favorite, next to a Honeywell punch card machine that was my favorite back in the day (the early 70's day). Sadly, I can't justify the ADB to USB interface to use that beast. Didn't matter how flimsy the desk was- the keyboard was built like a bridge.
