So what would be a "significant new product?"

I have no idea. This why I appreciate those with vision, to make that thing that didn't exist and we didn't know we couldn't live without.

I don't even know if it's possible. That's why it astounds me that people seem to expect in on a regular basis.

But I'd be happy with a Cube II. The MacPro was nice try. But a Cube II. Two 2.5" drive bays for user replaceable drives, or one 2.5" and one 3.5" drive, along with the ability to upgrade RAM and the video card (!). Not a new mini. A Cube.

The Echo was a significant new product.

The Pebble was also a significant new product.

Apple is years behind Amazon, but did compete with a Kickstarter company.

If they cannot give us NEW products, at least update those you DO make.

I disagree on both counts. (The Echo was a stationary version of Siri and the Pebble was an inchoate product.)
