Anyone planning on seeing the Passion Play in Oberammergau next year?

For several decades I have missed seeing the famous, 400-years-running-every-ten-years Passion Play put on by the people of Oberammergau. I was in Germany in 1990, attending a juggling festival. The day after the festival I went to a travel agent to see about procuring tickets to the play—to find out that the last performance had been that weekend.

Don't know if I will be around for the 2030 staging. Am mulling over the idea of joining a tour group to visit next year, or trying to make reservations and travel plans on my own.

Has anyone attended? Planning on going? Any tips to pass along? Perhaps a Bavarian Forum meet-up next year?

I was there in 2000. But I was with my family and didn't have to plan anything, so I can't give you any advice:-) Very well done show.
