SpamSieve Update
#1
A couple weeks ago I asked if anyone here was using SpamSieve. I was interested in buying it at the 20% discount available through MacSanta. Well, based strictly on the reccomendations here I went ahead and purchased SpamSieve on Christmas.

In the almost two weeks since I've bought SpamSieve I think I've maybe had 6 spam emails slip through into my inbox, and none marked as spam that were not. This is pretty dang amazing considering I get over 1,000 spam messages a day through my various email accounts.

Prior to SpamSieve I'd say about 10 spams would slip through into my inbox per day and I'd have 1 legitimate email falsely marked as spam each day as well. I'd spent much of my day going over spam just to make sure a new customer inquiry wasn't mistakingly identified as spam.

Thanks to all of you who offered input on this very useful program.

Yep great App, and it gets even better with time with training. The only thing that was slipping through for a while was those GIF attachment Spams but with a few weeks of training those are non issues now.

Eventually there will come a day when you have to Reset the Corpus or something like that and it will need to be trained again, other than that it runs smooth as silk.

Again, a great App!

Yes, wonderful app. Some of my clients get literally hundreds of spams a day, and it's a total lifesaver for them. Fast and accurate and easy to train.

Anyone know of something as good as SpamSieve for Windows? Still have some people on Outlook 2002 which doesn't have any built-in junk mail filtering at all...

Its always like to hear when my overly opinionated advice was on target.

Nothing as simple and effective as SpamSieve for Windows, however there are effective applications. I recently installed ChoiceMail for my wifes PC and it works well. It is challange response system so it is 100% effective and for her needs it works well. They have free trial version.
