Should I join Walmart + to gain access for a chance to buy PS5
#1
Different sites are offering the PS5 at different times. Walmart offers them to members that have bought the Walmart + membership.

Is that a good Idea for me?

I really don't like Walmart, but I do shop there as it is very close to me, and if one store doesn't have something, the other will.

And it says I can cancel anytime.

Thoughts? Has anyone benefitted from Walmart +

I have no experience with Walmart+ but I did see you can get a 90 day free trial. Maybe do the trial and if you are lucky you can get the PS5 before it runs out. Confusedmiley-signs003:

Free trial doesn't work for the chance to get the PS5., at least at this release. Some releases are open to the general public.

Update, I joined Walmart+ and I refreshed at about 20 seconds before 9 am PST, and I got in the Que and it said 25 minutes, and as it was about at 10, it said I had 10 minutes, so I put it in the cart and purchased.

Price is a lot better than buying from resellers, and now I could cancel the Walmart + at any time. Although I order the approx $85-$89 version, which may not be refundable, but I will see.

Still happy that I got one, and that fills up some of my Christmas Shopping for 2 people.

Congratulations on the PS5.

I wouldn't have tried because my experience with Wally is pretty dismal what it comes to special offers.

One of my coworkers did and was able to get one last week. Not sure it is worth it or not, but it definitely worked for him.

I was offered a free trial period with W+ while making a purchase once - I got free shipping on a 40lb order so I grabbed it - cancelled before the end of the trial - no problem.

The one with optical drive was $499 plus tax. Don't ask how I know.

Correct 499 + Tax, so around $551 or there about.

Then you see them all around for $800 - $1200 or more on Ebay, etc.
