iPad loses WiFi contact
#1
Have three pads all on the same iOS and home WiFi network. Gen 7 pad no longer connects on start up, requires manual set up each time. Other pads work normal and connect. Problem devise auto connects when traveling (family. doctors, hospital etc) - just not at home.

The only change I recall was attempting to link it to an iPhone hotspot but did that with the others as well. It's no huge problem, just a nuisance since the thing is used 90% to read books.

Try turning them all off, then restarting the problematic one first.

Is your Wifi a Netgear Orbi? We had nothing but problems with those and our iPads during COVID. 9/10 when a student called and couldn't get connected to their home network they were running an Orbi.

You could try the erase network settings on the iPad.

The nuclear approach is to do an erase all content and settings and setup the iPad from scratch.

I’ve had similar issues with my first gen iPad Pro. However, I believe that it’s a hardware issue but not positive.
