Anyone else having problems with QuickLook?

Ever since upgrading to Monterey, QuickLook has been super flaky. Often times showing a thumbnail instead of a preview. Only after restarting the finder will a true preview reappear. Is it just me?

No. Quick Look has been flaky that way since Catalina.

...And if you access a file server, take care not to use Quick Look on a file on the server. It will mark the file as "busy" indefinitely thereafter and prevent you from moving/deleting it.

Sometimes quitting and restarting the Finder will fix it. Sometimes it takes a restart. FWIW, I've not noticed a problem in a couple of Monterey incremental updates (I'm on 12.3.1 at this point).

yup, same here. in activity monitor, you can force quit the quick look UI service (finder), and it should start working agin. I tend to have to do it about once daily on mine.
