Interest Rate for New Toyota RAV4, 4.99 then 5.99
#1
Keeps changing, like the stock market. As we put $500 on a Red Rav4 that is in the Build Phase, I saw that the interest rate from Toyota was 4.99%, but now I am told by my online salesperson, that it is now 5.99 for 60 months.

I suppose I could find a cheaper rate, and if Apple Stock goes up, I would be able to payoff any loan we take out.

Any suggestions on getting the best percentage. Our credit union is around 5.6%

Checked Toyota's website for the current rate and yes, it's 5.99 on 48 and 60 month financing with the best credit score.

Bankrate.com has a listing of rates. Autopay shows "from" 4.85% for a new vehicle but the rest of the loan places are higher. I've never heard of Autopay.

My GA credit union shows 5.74%.

PenFed (that we used years ago for a mortgage--they were fine) shows rates of 4.44% if you use their buying service and 5.44% if you just want a new car loan. It sounds like you've already bought the vehicle so the buying service doesn't seem useful for you.

bird flu has diminished supply and may continue to do so.
but yea ..... .99¢

who f@rted?

and if the cost of borrowing for corps goes up, don't count on another screaming year for the market.
might be a good year to invest in dirt and/or clean fill.

Nah.

They'll just install sunlamps in the barns. Won't even need health and safety inspections when that happens. Sunlight cures everything.

Crazy how none of those elites running the government ever noticed that. Must be a dark conspiracy!

Just ask our new HHS Secretary! He's gonna set us all up with nude beaches.

Back to the RAV4...

I din't want to read that ..... but .....

"In our investigation, we discovered Kennedy was one of the few who endorsed Trump’s recommendation, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, to inject people with disinfectants. "

BUT!!!!!!!!!¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

"Next, we’ll tell you about Tulsi Gabbard, the rep from Hawaii, who Trump wants as director for national intelligence. According to several media reports — we could not make this up —she is a follower of a cult called the Science of Identity Foundation, which practices “transcendental Hinduism” and is led by a man named Chris Butler. His followers lie face down when he enters a room, sometimes eat his nail clippings and/or the sand he walks on, according to several articles. "

10 year bond rate is going up despite core inflation numbers low - the prediction markets are that near-future decisions are going to raise inflation, not reduce it.

That's being passed onto loan rates including mortgages and autos.

Huge deficit spending expectations are driving up the 10 year note even as the Fed cuts rates.
