Well. THAT was not the way we expected things to turn out (NFC football)

With three of the NFC North’s four teams (minus the poor Bears) in the playoffs after vying for the best record in the conference, and having the most wins of any division in football this year, each went one-and-done. And not one of the games was particularly close.

Jayden Daniels, skinny little rookie kid that he is, barely worked up a sweat last night while running 16 times (!) and racking up 45 on the Lions. It’s too early to know, but he may just may be the next dominant QB in the league.

I watched some of that game, despite not following football anymore. Never heard of that kid before — he is really impressive. Sad faces in that Stadium.

I'd really like to see the Commanders go all the way.

I know! They were hoping for/expecting so much better.

Turnovers of 5 (Lions) to zero (Wash) will ruin the best of plans.

So true. That must have been really tough for the fans after such a great season. Expectations were understandably high. But it seems there were too many injuries to sustain the momentum.

Some self-inflicted errors, too.
