this thing has been getting slower and slower and I never had time to troubleshoot it. I usually keep it docket at work, I rarely take it home (I VPN from my MacBook if I want to do some light work from home) and sometimes I take it in the clean room at work. My the office is NOT a clean room.
So today I undocked it and noticed the bottom case was VERY hot.
I took it to the machine shop and blew compressed air (100+ PSI) in the read vents, oh buy, a cloud of dust came out. I repeated a few times in every opening I could see (except the speakers) and the fans were rotating very fast when I flew air in them.
I went back to the desk and used it for 4 hours and did not have another slowdown issue, and the bottom case was cool when I checked.
