fine idea, but why doesn't the army provide internet connection and thus VOIP service so that can call back home for free? heck, several OOMAs for every platoon would be nice. Why do they have to pay to call back home???

I've wondered about the calling card thing too. I have several young relatives that have been in Iraq,
and are now Afghanistan, and they use Skype to video chat with family stateside.
