I don't know if I've ever looked in my gmail spam folder.
Wow - what a mess. Every 3-5 minutes - another one, mostly for pharmaceuticals....hundreds every day. How much internet traffic is consumed by this crap?
gmail is pretty good at filtering spam. For all other bothersome emails - ones for which I cannot seem to unsubscribe - I just click "Filter" and set them to automatically delete. I have about 100 filters set up now. So, just about everything that actually makes it to my inbox is legit.
