......sodomization occurs at the back of the theater.....

They closed all those theaters in my city years ago.... :censor:
Move to a different city?
Nah, like most of the rest of America in recent years, i've taken to doing the bulk of my sodomizing at home... It's just so convenient, and you can get most of the same selection as at the theater.

Mavis wanted to see Winter's Bone.

I didn't, but she "needed" me to go with her, so after voicing my opinion that we'd enjoy The King's Speech more, I went along with her wish.

Fortunately, being over 65 it only cost $7.25each for our tickets plus a $4 bag of popcorn.

The upshot was that I fell asleep several times during the movie and hated its darkness, both visual and emotional. Turned out that Mavis felt the same about it.

I wouldn't recommend this picture in spite of its great reviews.

But, as I always say, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong." Sad

Next week it's The King's Speech on Wednesday before 5PM. ($4 tickets for over 65)

Ok, we went DVD.
And to keep with the sodomy mention here, unbeknownst to me until later, we watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. (Man who hates women or whatever).

I don't think I'll watch it again. It was so so.

If you have a cheap 2nd run theatre nearby, Unstoppable was surprisingly good fun.

This sooo much depends on taste. This time of year may be good to see some leftover Oscar contenders from last year. I have to say that I found King's Speech good, but not extraordinarily great, and liked both True Grit and Black Swan more (and, for that matter, Winter's Bone, mentioned in this thread, but that I saw on BD).
