Anyone had a 80GB HDD replaced in a 1st gen MBA?

If so, did Apple do it, and if I'm not asking too much, what did it cost? This is a Samsung ATA drive.
Is it a DIY for a person with reasonable skills?

Apple's 80 GB PATA drive is $100. plus labor. and perhaps some markup.

Apple was going to replace mine under warranty but they were on back order for three weeks.
They ended up replacing the Mba with a second generation. Happy me.
