The manager tried to repossess the computer because he mistakenly believed the Byrds hadn't paid off their rent-to-own agreement. When Brian Byrd showed the manager a signed receipt, the manager showed Byrd a picture of Byrd using the computer — taken by the computer's webcam.
Brian Byrd demanded to know where the picture came from, and the manager "responded that he was not supposed to disclose that Aaron's had the photograph," the lawsuit said.

What I'm not understanding is why the manager thought that showing Byrd a photo of him using the computer was a suitable response to Byrd showing him the receipt proving the computer had been completely paid off.

You are assuming that the reporter did an accurate and complete job of reporting the incident.

It's really a simple thing, actually. Reporter asks, person tells. What's not to assume?

Every computer that I have owned over the past 10 yrs, I have purchased at Aaron's. I pay them off in 3 months and it is much better than using a credit card However, I am very upset over this spyware that everyone is talking about, how can i check my computer for this?
