I am in 8.1... what will be the benefits of upgrading ? I have no iPhone or iPad currently.
I should also ask what if anything will I lose by upgrading...?

The slide shows and such get better with every upgrade The newest slide show, and email stationary are very nice.

If you upgrade---Make sure you have backed up.
