Wow, at 7PM my wife and I started taking the pool cover off, no leave dumping or stagnant water or anything. That really surprises me with all the wind blown down branches and rain so far this spring. Anyway, that happened smoothly so we kept going, sand filter loaded, motor attached, attach and check hoses, let water through system, no leaks, plug in motor, runs, no pressure leaks! Then we hosed off cover, draped it over the deck to air dry, started shock treatment, water so good that by morning Ill be able to backwash, top off with another inch or two of water, then it will be totally swim ready. Elapsed time 1 and 1/2 hours. Must be new record for me. Tuesday or Wed. I'll attach the Nature2 Vision cart. and I'll be totally done.
I'm either lucky, or just maybe I know what I'm doing after 15 years of a pool.

What's your water temperature?
Fortunately, I am in Florida, so no cover required. Water is maintained year 'round. I do need solar heating for November-May, but haven't talked myself into spending the $4500 yet. I can't justify the expense for the crap product they install. :banghead:

It still feels like winter here in Sacramento. Temperatures are at least 10-15 degrees below normal, and we've been having rain.
The few pools we have will probably open on time, and of course close on Labor day even though 100 degree temperatures are still common at that time of the year.

Western Mass, lots of rain here, with cooler temps. Last coup[le days sunny and mid upper 80's.
"What's my water temp?"
I hope the thermometer is broken, only says 68 degrees
