I've seen clicking drives "recover" several times now . . . no rhyme or reason, just the 2nd or 8th or 12th tie they get power they work again. Not a drive you want to depend on after that point though.

My miniStack v3 was fine for well over the year I used it. Only sold it because I wanted something silent, and so went in a different direction altogether.

But I'd purchased the "0GB" model so that I wouldn't be limited by whatever came inside.
