I'm looking at all the "leftover" computer parts and pieces that have accumulated in my den, and I found a USB2 card that I bought for the MDD, but it was never installed. Can I stick it in the B&W that I use as a server? The B&W has a G4 550 processor in it and is running 10.3.9. My Canon printer is supposed to be USB2, but I've been running it with USB1; a little speed bump would be nice.
Thanks!

But it could. That would be fun. If it starts throwing sparks would you give me a call so I can come over?

It's funny but I've never thought of the words "trusty" and "B&W" taking place in the same sentence.

Your experiences may differ a bit from others. My 3 B&Ws 2 rev 1s and a rev 2, have all been very reliable, with the exception of the FW controllers in the rev 1s.

OWC cards with FW and USB 2 on them are now $20.
I paid $110 for the same thing (from OWC) for an Orange Micro, back in April 2002.
I called yesterday to get a credit for tthe difference between what I paid and what they sell for now - but Ben told me he was sending me an old shoe instead.
Hey -- if it is a $90 shoe, I'll take it.
