Interesting Steely Dan reference here. Last Wednesday night I went to one of those retro-tribute band what-cha-ma-call-its for a Steely Dan performance. I just went to another last month (AC/DC & Pretenders impersonators) and they were mediocre at best. I was pleasantly shocked and downright amazed how good this band was, eleven people made up the group. I even had to take a closer look at the members playing to make sure they were really playing, it sounded just like SDs albums. I walked away after the concert ended feeling like I just watched the "real" thing.
