Lion- Library Folder in User's folder????
#1
Anybody know where the Library Folder went to that used to be in the User's Folder? I deleted some apps in Lion that weren't compatible anymore. I decided to go to the preferences folder that resides in the user's Library Folder and delete associated prefs, etc.

I couldn't find the folder there anymore. I couldn't find a preference folder anywhere that contained the preferences I was looking for.

It's there. It's just invisible because "big brother" doesn't like us playing with our toys too much.

Unhide it or jump to it without unhiding it:

All of the major Mac websites (Mac World, Apple Insider, Mac NN, etc. have had articles on this for at least a week. Try setting your Safari RSS bookmark for some of these, and check them out daily. You will be very surprised how much info is available with very little effort.

Apple will probably fix this in the 10.7.1 software update.

I doubt it. The general consensus is that most users have no business getting into their own Library. This conclusion is probably based on their Help Center experience and Genius Bar evidence.
