The iSurge. Three outlets, pivoting plug, 2 USB ports that can quick-charge an iPad, an iPhone/iPod dock on top and a nightlight just for giggles.

Ships in October. Should sell for around $60 bucks.

'Doesn't look like it'd fit an iPhone if the phone is in a case. Otherwise it looks pretty neat and might replace the Belkin surge protector USB charger for some people... Tho pricing the iSurge at 5x more than the Belkin doesn't seem very competitive.

Rich mewling Apple customers flush with cash to spend on all Apple's teatware have no issue with dropping a few Jacksons on the latest iWarez.

I have a few of the Belkin. Doesn't charge my wife's 1st gen iPad, but at $12-14 (not the $25 you'll find it at in stores), it's handy both at home and on the road.

One downside to these charger/powerstrip combos is that they won't adapt to overseas voltages like a dedicated charger will.

If it's powered on while jacked into the Belkin USB port, the iPad will give you an alert that it's not charging. Put it to sleep and it will charge -- albeit slowly.

The Belkin kicks out standard USB power, which trickle-charges iPads. New Macs and the iPad USB charger can kick out twice the power to charge an iPad more quickly.

I paid $20 for my first Belkin (three 110V outlets, two USB ports). When I saw them at $10, I bought two more.
