SSD in 2009 Mac Mini
#1
Thinking of dropping in a 60gb SSD as a boot drive in my 2009 Mini & removing the optical drive, then installing a second 7200rpm drive using the Optibay hard drive caddy.

Any suggestions on what brand SSD drive to buy?

Haven't done any comparison, but my OWC SSD screams in my 12" PowerBook. Very, very happy with it.

I will admit there was not a lot of choice for an IDE drive. Kudos to OWC for supporting us users of older Macs.

Good luck.

Anything with a Sandforce controller.

No need for 6G, 3G is fine.
