This assumes you can perform the installation yourself. Me, I wouldn't be willing to mess with it. If you were to go this route, buy the part and see if an authorized service rep will be willing to install it for you. My guess it still wouldn't be cost effective because of the age of the range, the cost of the part and the cost for installation. I'd still buy a new range.
