force quit an iPad??
#1
I was watching Anderson Cooper and checking websites on my husband's iPad and one site had a lot of videos that I guess the iPad was having trouble with -- anyway, I couldn't do anything - couldn't kill the page, couldn't get back home... so I thought I should just shut it down. It responded normally to the shut down, but now it's just doing the swirling sun burst thing and it's been 5 mins. Is there anything I can do?

Hold down the Home button and the top/'sleep' button together until it goes blank and the Apple logo reappears (probably 10-20 seconds), and then release and let it boot up again.

My favorite AC is when he was in New Orleans after Katrina and he was wearing waders in water up to his waist. He finished his report and the anchor said "Thanks, AC, and be careful of the snakes". He started looking around and said, "There are snakes in here?" Duh...
