All macs $150 off at Best Buy today
#1
I haven't seen it truly "advertised" anywhere but on the mac kiosk in the store was a sign that looked like an employee made it that said "as advertised, all macs $150 off.)
If anyone's been waiting for a break on the current laptops, it probably won't get much better than this for a while (except for refurbs.)
Their computer system has been overwhelmed so if you check local stock and everything is showing as "unavailable" it doesn't mean anything.

And first post from Lion and the backlit KB. Gonna leave the reverse-scrolling enabled for now to see if I can get used to it. No idea why they thought available hard drive space would not be desirable to include at the bottom of finder windows.

Oops-- totally forgot the highlight of my trip:

"The Best Buy warranty covers hardware-- Apple Care only covers software!"

Yes, that bugs the heck out of me. I keep saying I'm going to see if there is a way to get that feature back, but I haven't got around to it yet.

My current workaround is to use customize toolbar and add an "info" button to the top of the finder window. Not quite the same though.

I thought Apple removed Mac OS X Lion’s ability to display the number of Finder items in a folder/disk and the amount of space available on the disk. I didn’t realize how often I referred to these numbers!

Here’s where to turn the status bar back on: In the Finder, select View > Show Status Bar

I argued with a BB employee about this very subject last night. I am surprised Apple lets them get away with this. Was looking at MBA and iPad.
