Ah, the best toys are the simplest ones.

Of course I also miss being able to buy real chemicals for my chemistry set. Reagent grade Iodine.. Check. High quality Ammonia. Check. Mix. Check. Pour onto paper squares to dry. Check. Drop superball on one paper square...Big BANG, ball heads toward the stratoshpere in a cloud of purple smoke.
