Didn't they say all the new Apple apps were available today?

...I thought they did. No sign yet....

I am in process of doing my first OTA iOS upgrade! 5.1 is downloaded and "Preparing Update..." on my 4S...

BTW, I think it's totally stupid that they're not calling the "3rd-generation iPad" the iPad3. I really wonder what those guys are smoking sometimes!

Downloading everything but iPhoto now. After the 5.1 update was complete, they all showed up in the app store on the phone...

Would you have preferred the iPad 4G followed by the iPad 4GS next year?

I know, I know... Apple has always struggled with naming its devices. I just think it would be cleaner if they called the third iteration of the device "iPad3".

Oh, and btw, I just finished downloading the new iPhoto app on my 4S. Haven't had time to play with it much, but it looks pretty cool...

Too bad that the iPhoto app doesn't work on the original iPad.

Yeah that kinda sucks. I have an iPhone 4 but you really can't edit very well on an iPhone. I would like to have had it
for my iPad 1. What's the reason, processor speed or controlled obsolescence ?
