Deleting album art in itunes
#1
I got the how to install by clicking on the little arrow but I want to delete some covers that apple has installed....Like Beverly Sills album with a Black Girl Pop singer's picture, ditto on another album with some male pop singing group that is a movie soundtrack.

I've gone to the extent of replacing some album art with Amazon cover jpegs. I agree... the art lookup model is a bit weird. Having more metadata sometimes helps... adding album and correct artist to the song data can extract the correct 'cover'.

This is from a few years ago but still applies. http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/R...s_Artwork/

I'm having no success. Maybe delete the entire file and reload.

Selecting (clicking) the art and clicking the Delete key, as described in the instructions I linked to, produced no result?

IF you have ever used a program like Synergy to display a floating window announcing the song, artist and cover artwork, it keeps the art work in a different folder. It may or may not have sent it to iTunes depending on the application.

Also: Control-click or right-click and "Clear Downloaded Artwork". This can be done on multiple tracks.
