In many ways, what a MBA should be.

[quote=sekker]Don't think that was a problem. Apple was testing MBP prototypes with a built-in 3G antennae.

My guess is Apple thinks the iPad is the superior mobile device. If you need the heavy hitting power of an actual Mac, you can always tether your iPad/iPhone to your Mac. You know, since we all own one or the other anyway. Wink
Ideally the next gen iPad would have a clamshell design and a keyboard.

Why wait until then?

…Dual core AMD processor…

Which is a piece of junk.
Benchmarks?
Here's the AMD E-350 on PassMark. Measures similar to an intel Atom 810 or a ULV Core Duo 1.33GHz. Not nearly in the same league as the MBAir. It's a netbook processor, not an MBAir competitor.

PassMark of the E-350 is 725. BTW, that netbook has an E-360, slightly faster than the 350.

Intel Core i5-3317U @ 1.70GHz in low end MBAir is 2920, about 4x the speed in this benchmark.

Edit: math?!?!?
