Don't buy, the software end on that model is almost completely broken at this point.... It relies on web hosted images that Logitech chose to no longer host... Places where you need to click buttons that are now invisible and such.

I honestly can't believe they are still selling them, should just be pulled from the shelves. It is one thing to discontinue support for a product, but entirely another to make it so it is nearly impossible to reprogram existing remotes!

Wow, that's really disappointing. Historically, Logitech is known for great service.

I will note an exception on a recent low-end Harmony remote purchase. The software to reprogram them from a Mac was truly abysmal.

There ARE times I wish Apple had kept an IR antennae in their mobile devices like Sony used to. My favorite TV emote was my CLIE that ran Palm OS and Sony's remote software. Worked really well once I learned how to program it for my specific components.
