Source for LED flood lights?
#1
Really like the LED flood that I have in one of my ceiling kitchen lights. Was not crazy about the $34 price tag some months ago.

Does anyone have an online source with better prices than at the big box stores?

Costco, maybe? I've purchased some from there before and they are well-priced.

$34 is a good price for a quality LED can light. Cheaper LEDs have crummier light quality and insufficient heat sinks (i.e. they fail faster). Stick with the Cree and Philips LEDs (many crees are sold as Home Depot's Ecosmart brand...look for the cree name on the package).

I wish I knew of one also. I'm afraid of a lot of what's online, that it's cheap chinese-made stuff. I bought a regular led bulb at Home Depot, and put it outside for a "porch" light, and it was only a 40watt, but it's bright. And it was only 12.00 on sale. Another I bought a while back is in our bathroom, and it's pretty weak sauce. One I got online has lasted years already, but is really, really dim. It's from one of the chinese stuff websites. It's hard to know what your going to get when you buy led lights, I think. kj.
