Fred never played Obama, as much as he played Fred Armisen with a short afro (which I liked).

I like Jay Pharoah... his POTUS was pretty good. He also does a great Denzel and Will Smith.
Thought it was one of the funnier episodes in a long time. That's mostly because Seth MacFarlane understands comedy. Did anyone actually miss Kristen Wiig or Andy Samberg? Not I.

Should have done a re-write on his opening monologue and substituted the name of a not dead 70s sex symbol for the one he used.

I thought Seth did a great job, but our funniest moment had to be the line about, "...passing a V8 can followed by two minutes of hot dog water." (approximately)
It seems like the season premiers are among the best episodes, probably because everyone's fresh and had the whole summer to come up with ideas.

the Lids skit was fun.

Just caught up on DVR. That was a very good show, I didn't expect Seth McFarlane to have that much mojo in him. The skits weren't too long and some of them were wicked funny. The ending Amish skit was in and out so quick I had to rewind it twice.to get the full effect.

....so since Abby left the show...did she break up with the much older Fred.....???
