Watching Obama and Christie in NJ
#1
I was watching Obama and Christie touring the damage in NJ. I actually like Christie, most of the time, but he really needs to lose some weight. I did not realize just how large he had gotten. The high pressure world of politics is hard enough on a person's health, but carrying around that much extra weight is a recipe for disaster.

I think Black alluded to that yesterday..."Two big men."

Edit to use actual quote!

I think if he could successfully tackle that, or at least make good progress, he'd be a great role model.

And since he appears to want to go further in politics, to the national stage, I think it's a must.

In this interview he's quite candid about his struggle:

This is the first thing that Christie has done that I've liked. If you look into his position against additional rail between ny and nj you'll see some pretty bald faced lies.

Yeah, since I live so far away, I'll admit that I don't follow Christie that closely, so I might not like him as much, if I was more affected by his policies.

I think Mike Huckabee's returned to his "before" picture.

I was unaware of the gambling feud between he and the mayor of AC. Explains a lot about their interactions and makes Christie really look opportunistic.
