I got a bottle of Grand Marnier as a gift and had to struggle to finish it. I never found a mixed drink that used it that I liked and did not like it straight.

GM, reposado, lime juice and a touch of frozen OJ concentrate.

Sweeter than I prefer, but still quite nice and better than Triple Sec, or Cointreau.

Patrons Citronje is the better mixer.

These are also supposedly good margar mixer, but I haven't tried.
Combier Liqueur D'Orange, Des Ribauds Orange Dragon Liqueur.

Or glazing a roast or Q'd duck. In brownies. In maple syrup. Hot chocolate.

Benedictine and Brandy.

I also like Campari once in a while.

My wife enjoys an occasional Kahlua, white russian or mud slide. I'm not sure what they consist of but they are certainly sweet.

None. Can't stand any sweet alcohol. Can't even drink Burbon. Give me Scotch, or Irish whiskey in a pinch but anything sweet, fuggeddaboudditt.

1. Midori (it's green!) ; with equal parts milk, it is a smooth melon.

2. Fireball whiskey (it's cinnamon bourbon!) ; a warming sipping aperitif, or with milk, a tasty and smooth (there's that word again) muscle relaxant.

3. Drambuie! With equal parts single malt Scotch whiskey, it's a Rusty Nail (through the brain!).

Sip sparingly, and enjoy!

...and Sabra, the chocolate-orange liqueur...
...and Creme de Cacao/Creme de Menthe...(Grasshopper?)
...and Galliano...
...and Strega (the witch)...
...and Gekkeiken Plum Wine...
